LAUREL, Md. — A Laurel woman is under arrest on charges she operated a house of prostitution at the apartment complex where she lived. Anne Arundel County police said Elizabeth H, 35, faces four criminal charges, including receiving money from prostitutes with the intent of promoting and profiting from a crime and engaging in prostitution and assignation by any means. The arrest followed complaints from residents of the Russett Green Community about men and women showing up at all hours at an apartment in the 3400 block of Holly Creek Drive. Police said the women were advertising sexual services on the Internet and scheduling appointments at the residence. Police said an undercover officer was solicited for sex acts, resulting in a raid and H’s arrest.
